Yasir Shah enters record books with 5/64 at Lord’s against England on Day 2

Yasir Shah stole the show on Day 2 of the first Test between England and Pakistan as the leggie ran through the hosts middle-order to return with impressive figures of 5/64. Shah’s figures not only put him on the honour’s board but place him in a super elite league! Here’s a look at the numbers which went for a toss on Friday:

# Shah becomes first leg-spinner after Bhagwath Chandrasekhar, who took 5 for 127 in 1967, to take a first-innings fifer at Lord’s

# In just 13 Tests, Shah has managed to pick four-wicket hauls 10 times

# Against England, he has picked four-fors in four out of the five innings against the Three Lions

# The last time a leggie took a five-for at Lord’s was way back in 1996 when Mushtaq Ahmed returned with figures of 5/57

# With 81* scalps in his 13 Tests, Shah leads the list with most number of dismissals after playing those many games. He is in joint lead with Turner, who also took 81. Shah has a chance to do better in the reaminder of Lord’s Test
