Ben Stokes ruled out of Pakistan Test series

Ben Stokes, the England all-rounder,
who sustained a calf injury during the
second innings of the second Test
against Pakistan at Old Trafford, was
ruled out of the rest of the four-match
series on Wednesday (August 3). He
had undergone a scan on his injured
calf last week to ascertain the extent
of the damage and reportedly will be
out of action for close to six weeks
now.

Stokes was replaced by Steven Finn,
the Middlesex pacer, for the third Test
at Edgbaston. Earlier, the 25-year-old
cricketer, had pulled up after bowling
the second ball of his sixth over to
Younis Khan on Day 4 of the Old
Trafford Test. He couldn't complete
the over and had to leave the field
with the physio. --- Read More: http://cricbuzz.com/cricket-news/81805
