yes! Kodi is not illegal. but some of its add on is. so I strongly suggest U using a VPN when using services such as Kodi. Due to the change in privacy laws, your Internet streaming logs can be shared or sold to 3rd parties without your consent. Also, without a VPN service, your Internet Service Provider can log and monitor everything that you download or stream, which may lead to copyright infringement issues.
I usually don't watch any pirated content online.How about Hotstar is it legal as Kodi add on???

But, why dont u install hotstar from playstore or by apk file.

Got mine two days back. Already explored it and is awesome. Plays dd audio on netflix.
Its better than appletv 4th gen. my apple tv 4th gen dosent stream in 1080p on netflix with 8mbps connection. But no problems in fire stick . It works like a charm. Going to reduce my subscription in airtel dth. Streaming is the future.
