Norton by Symantec has announced plans to launch Norton One, a personalized service that will protect consumers across multiple devices including desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and mobile phones, in the first half of 2012.
Norton One will be a membership-based offering that offers new devices to be added seamlessly to the membership and quickly protected against online threats. It will also offer licenses to be moved between devices or removed if the device is no longer being used.
“Norton continues to expand business with its Norton Everywhere initiative, delivering solutions that are focused on the individuals, regardless of the device they use,” said Janice Chaffin, Group President, Consumer Business Unit, Symantec. “Norton One will address the security and service challenges that consumers face today.”
