Instead of censoring digital contents, very first the concerned authorities should censor the Television serials.

We don't need censorship of voluntary access systems including TV and OTT. But we need warnings about shows because we need to know what we are about to watch before the director already brainwash the entire audience. For example in serials there should be small text warning before the show like 'show is about family fight', 'show is about drugs', 'show is about suicide' etc

Censor must for OTT too. As there is no censor now, contents are injected with adult scenes, even it is NOT warranted for story. Example : Police Diary 2 in Zee5

Before OTT too there were issues in society. Whom we should blame for that? Heard about Breaking bad? Did it increase drugs usage in India after the release of the series? It was an issue even before that and still going on.

We should blame parents and teachers for the behaviour of a person. OTT never forced anyone to watch such scenes. In 10th Standard, most students will have reproductive system. Why no one pointed that out? Schools know that they are still kids but still they taught them. Many are saying there should be S** awareness classes in school and should make children know about it regarding what's good and what's bad.

OTT provided parental lock option (Checked on Netflix and Prime). Why do people want to encourage minors with OTT if they are afraid? People can't control their own child and blame OTT platform?

If it comes to an adult they clearly mention if it's 18+ or 16+ etc so just avoid that series. I know many people who didn't watch GoT and no one questioned them. Just like that can ignore a show if a person doesn't like it because of the content.

But because of this, they will need more servers = more cost to maintain them and due to that, they will increase the prices.

That isn't a factor at all. They have the money to scale up and buy storage. For corporates, there are specific customized back end deals at an agreed upon cost.

Yes, But more space means need to pay more. No company will give a huge amount of storage data for free right because of some deal and who prefers to pay from their profits?

Let's just guess they have 1000TB server storage space and now they need to make 2 versions of every ep/series which are 18+ and roughly each 1hr 1080p episode size is around 5-6gb and now they will take space of 10-12gb. and Overall it's going to be around 1200TB-1400TB approx instead of 1000TB. Why will corporates want to spend for that extra 200-400TB storage space? Already there is a tough competition in OTT.

The way their backend deals work is that as much as they scale up, the cost per GB/TB goes down.

If parents think that content is not suitable for kids then why is reproduction chapter available in our education system for an 8th std kid. We all know there are hormonal changes in kid while entering the teen age grp. Also if we take records of rapists most of them are between age of 16-20 (the ones who are directly or indirectly barred from the content).

Also i would like to add that if the content is available and also people are educated we see cases of rape being less in those countries. I repeat it again that a free view content and education both are required here.

I assume that even tv channels should show the content.

They should classify all content into 3 groups, under 15, under 21 and Adult. And they should have login only through Aadhar OTP That way only content suitable for the viewer's age (as per government records) will be shown to him/her post login.

Do you think each & every show available on OTT Requires Censorship? No, I don't think so, there are only few shows that crosses the limit & we can't watch with kids or family.

If amazon prime can add Films like WAR in three Different Languages instead of adding Multi-Language option on Original Language print, then they certainly can upload two different versions of same show (one Uncensored & other Censored)
