I am curious do you want the Journalists to support their colleagues even though they are wrong?
For a long time a bunch of Journalists who were closer to power circles enjoyed privileges and treated their other colleagues who were not in that circle with disdain,This was a subtle form of discrimination.It is not a surprise that once their privileges were gone due to Modi's distrust of journalists,they were given similar treatment by the same colleagues.Arnab in his initial days wasn't the vile anchor he has become now,in a way he represented the resentment the young india had against the then UPA govt.,he picked up issues which were deemed untouchable for his esteemed colleagues.I am not sure why he is supposed to support to anyone else when he is the only senior news anchor who has been to jail till now(in my memory).I do not count the likes of Newsclick and Newslaundry and TNM as news outlet.Despite their vile diatribe before breakfast, lunch and dinner the likes of Abhishar,Ravish,Ajit Anjum etc haven't faced prosecution of any kind other than occasional figment of imagination of Ravish.
