Goan culture I'm not sure about it - but have realized over past few months when reading views of Goan people living there - its not same as depicted in Indian films (only focusing on beaches /modern (swim suit) or churches , casino - music its only partially true and restricted to near some beach areas if we go away from their to inner areas - its mixture of konkani culture of coastal state (marathi/karnataka border) konkani, christian/catholic and muslim & Hindus - even they are mostly traditional overall but with some modernity due to Portuguese ruling (they do retain major Indian culture due to which they fought against Portuguese rule and supported India for getting freedom of their state) all religious most people support each other live peacefully. example ( Rob M.A.D pogo tv show host and imagine that S1 host lives in Goa got some views about their)
its really saddening thing , this should never ever happen again in any other places . I hope they do strict punishment for criminal and make security of women better like they do in Singapore safe for women to walk even in night and safer for foreigners.
