He will be dropped now if he doesn't score runs in second innings. This was his last innings, I feel. Rahul will get extended run against Australia and England will play 10 if not 11 tests. And then he will be dropped too before making way for Musheer Khan, Sai Sudarshan and Devdutt Paddikal(Even though I want Ricky Bhui and Baba Indrajith to get chance in middle order, sadly they won't get chance, because selectors don't think they are ready, after dropping Sarfaraz, Musheer Khan will definitely come and play few matches after England series). Rohit Sharma last series as a captain. I don't think he can last even 10 overs in BGT against Cummins and Starc. Same goes with Rahul. Be it middle order or opening. But he will get backing because of three previous centuries in England and South Africa. One last time. We will have totally new team and captain after England away series.

Easwaran or Gaikwad will get chance and extended run for three or four series and one of them will be getting chance. Spinners are there. But we just don't want to pick. Manav Suthar, Shams Mulani, Saurabh Kumar, Axar Patel, Sai Kishore. Sai Kishor and Manav Suthar and Shams Mulani are exactly bowlers like Ajaj Patel. Lots of control. What they have done? They have sent to play T20 cricket to Oman. And didn't get chance as well I guess. I think Sai Kishore will never get chance as Manav Suthar is in A team.
