Again stressing, not really necessary that it be one of the languages of India. It can be any language defined in the NEP. Again, it's upto the boards and schools to prescribe which languages offered in which schools.If a student wishes to study any one language of India as third language.
But I don't think there will ever be a problem in finding English, Sanskrit/Hindi and <insert your mother tongue language here> language teachers in any given state, along with foreign language teachers.
