Really very bad move , every hit movie they are going to release on rent . Holy sh#t.

I don't think they are changing the actual digital release date. Suppose if digital release is on 20th of the month, they are putting it at rent on 10th.

The upside is that makers can earn a bit more and people who don't want to wait can watch early. But the downside is, it increases the piracy. As pirates will get their hands on it before actual subscribers get to watch it. (It was out on various places within less than 5 mins of being added to the platform).

Not much people willing to go theatres after first couple of weeks.
When I went to watch this movie for the 2nd time, there were only 5 or 6 other people in the entire hall.
