hi guys,

i am from bangalore and my cousin wanting to take new broabband connection in bangalore.

Confused between BSNL bharat fibre and private operators

1. how is BSNL bharat fibre in bangalore ?
2. isit cost effective and good plans ?

let me know if i should go ahead with this or ACT, airtel ?

If you have the feasibility of ACT in your area then i would suggest to choose ACT as it is way better in speed and service. I was never a fan of Airtel when it comes to broadband. BSNL fibre is not bad in terms of connectivity but i am sceptical about their customer service and fault corrections. However these are general/personal opinion about those operators which you have mentioned. Better if someone from Bengaluru answers this. Also look for local operators who might actually provide better service than big brands.

I can't say about Bangalore but I feel Act or Airtel are best broadband providers currently in the country, Airtel is little expensive compared to others but their service is top notch with promised speeds and really low ping.

Get BSNL FTTH only if others two are not feasible in your area or their plans are expensive. :ok2:

BSNL FTTH service is good because they are provided with local private partnership but the problem is they don't give connections easily.

Go for BBNL Broadband, a local service provider, if they cover your area. Their prices are cheap and service is very good.

hahaha i can opt for BSNL FTTH and they are ready to give connection. but the initial cost of setup is obviously more.. because my ADSL modem wont work on FTHH connections
i will need to buy a new modem from third party and it easily cost more and comes around 4k or so.

Thanks for the info :)
