Netgear, a global networking company has unveiled its second service centre at Lamington Road, Mumbai.
To be managed by inTarvo, the service center would have a warehouse and would essentially act as a replacement center for the defective (in-warranty) routers. “The defective stocks would be replaced within five to 15 minutes. The products that would be replaced are essentially home solutions such as wireless products, managed switches, network attached storage (NAS), and wireless controller switching solutions among others. The TAT for run-rate products would be 24-48 working hours— not only for Class A cities, but also tier-2 and tier-3, and Class B and Class C cities,” said Atul Jain, Country Manager, Netgear Technologies.
The service center Jain said was commissioned following partner feedback. He said, “Resellers found it difficult to commute to the Andheri service center and there was a constant demand to set up one on the Lamington Road. Our Andheri service center serves more than 100 resellers and the second one in south Mumbai would reach many more Netgear resellers.”
Meanwhile, the company has started its second phase of partner training. “We are going market by the market. We concluded a 13-city training program last quarter, and there is a reseller meet in Pune on Thursday. We are also launching a scheme for resellers in Mumbai. The scheme is based on the visibility program and resellers who enable the most visibility can earn coupons and prizes such as wireless routers,” Jain said.
