Netgear has introduced a 10-gigabit switch, Netgear ProSafe 52-port gigabit stackable smart switch (GS752TXS), for the mid-market.
The ProSafe 52- port gigabit smart switch provides 48 gigabit ports for connecting devices to the network, along with four 10G SFP+ ports for stacking or uplink to servers. Six switches can be stacked for a total of 288 network ports with full redundancy.
Atul Jain, Country Manager (India and SAARC), Netgear Technologies India said, “The 10G Smart Switch will provide a backbone to our mid-market customers for the rapidly emerging class of 10-gigabit servers, delivering high throughput from server to switch data replication and back-up, virtualization, video on demand, and high-volume transaction processing.”
The Netgear ProSafe 52-port gigabit stackable smart switch is available at a list price of Rs 1.19 lakh.
