It's ₹200 for good quality content with excellent UI. Just pay and get over it complaining Indians. Otherwise you get free platforms like JioCinema and something like Hotstar.

Netflix has chosen very bad strategy by delaying the release of new episodes of a really popular C-drama Hidden Love (consistently in top 5 trending). The 25 episodes show is already completed a few days ago but they released episode 11-16 just yesterday.

Cdrama and kdrama fans are dedicated ones, Netflix sure has huge content library but decisions like these push viewers towards alternatives, in this case all episodes are available with proper subtitles on dailymotion (youtube like free and not a piracy friendly site). Most people already watched it from there, I wonder if Netflix had any genuine reason for delaying the episodes.

They probably hired some former Hotstar executive. There is a verb for unnecessarily delayed addition. It's called getting Hotstared. This is exactly what Hotstar use to do before. Now they have improved with time.

Its ‘Basic’ tier previously allowed users to watch all the movies and TV shows on the streaming platform in standard definition, without adverts, for just $9.99 (£10.99) a month. Now, it looks as though users will be forced to either sit through ads to keep their costs down or pay for a more expensive streaming plan.

Netflix is cracking down on password sharing in India, sending emails to customers reminding them that accounts are meant for use within a single household.
