In short term its okay.. But in longer run, they should develop and market their own Ad Solution... Disney and other Netflix rivals have pretty much very good platforms in that regard, especially Disney which rakes in almost more than $1 billion dollors through Hulu... Let's see.

Netflix is angling to win over a new bloc of value-conscious consumers — and help turn around its declining subscriber numbers — with a new ad-supported streaming package set to debut in early 2023.

The company, in announcing Q2 earnings, said it’s targeting the launch of the ad-supported plan “around the early part of 2023.”

“We’ll likely start in a handful of markets where advertising spend is significant,” Netflix said in its Q2 letter to shareholders. “Like most of our new initiatives, our intention is to roll it out, listen and learn, and iterate quickly to improve the offering. So, our advertising business in a few years will likely look quite different than what it looks like on day one.”

Hopefully it will be not as badly placed as that of MX Player where Ads start playing at any random point.

Yeah, it totally ruins the flow.

Same is the case with SonyLiv as well. While watching The Kapil Sharma Show, Ads starts playing in the middle of a joke.

Hotstar is somewhat decent. Still not perfect though.

They won't do that they place ads mostly at starting and ending of the duration.. If they place ads in between they will get more hatred... In U.S...

Simply, it's in initiative stage for them and they are partnering with Microsoft for the same.. they won't have the datapoints on what to do compared to Disney who are gonna launch ad tier as well just because Disney invested huge sums doing adtech and have an idea what to do because of their experience with Hulu as well.

Netflix is ending is Twitter support., but will continue Customer Service options on Phone and Chat on Website.
