Congratulations for your 1st credit card ... I would recommend the following:
- Use the CC sparingly better still never use.
- Have a monthly cap on the expenditure on the card, make sure you pay back total ie: no outstanding carry forward.
- excessive use of your CC will effect your credit rating.
- Never get into the habit of using the CC for every transaction you make, use only when you need it
- EMI conversation after you make a purchase will lead you to pay more with interest and other hidden charges.
- Save money and buy from that ... don't get sucked into the plastic money syndrome and be wise.
