Things have changed bro. Previously only 4 titles simulcast India used to get (2 from Animax/ 2 from Prime Video)... But now since arrival of Muse, now 10 simulcast shows, Also Prime Video has 5 simulcast... Animax has 2 simulcast ( The Seven Deadly Sins is exclusive for Asia, Taiwan, Korea and Japan) even not in USA. It's understandable medialink My Hero Academia S4 will miss out... But I think, Netflix Asia will add that soon along with Food Wars S4...
Chihayafuru 3 is reserved for Animax Asia along with We never Learn! (From MUSE Asia), while SAO Alicilization War of Underworld is reserved for Netflix (From MUSE Asia)....

If enough audiences request Sony, it might be possible and also the current tariff regime gives that power to peoples to choose what they want to watch.

Though realistically I don’t think it will come back cause Animax had very limited subscriber base. But, you never know in future if our TV viewing patterns change and we watch more quality content than over dramatic soap operas then yes it might be a possibility.

To survive in India, Animax needs to dub their content in regional languages and promote it properly... India has anime audience... Recent anime poll from Netflix India also proved that anime beating Sacred Games... Animax has funds and financial issues also.. Sony needs to look into it and make Funimation group to handle Animax. They can do it better...
But one thing is sure, anime is coming in India in Hindi dub soon as per indian anime you tubers and Sanket Mhatre...

I agree with Both shreyaskini & Ashton bro's views, Animax return in Indian TV Channels is not possible at present scenario due to new Tariff regime & about yay sadly still its managed to come in trp ratings in 4th or 3rd place from few weeks. In future they might launch Animax as a HD premium channel as Premium HD channel in teen or niche Genre if they get more demand from Indian anime fans. Even in present they dont even promote animax in their ott app ads or social media posts.
