GURGAON: Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL), which operates MTS telecom services, today announced the launch of three Android based smartphones. Named MTS MTag 351, MTS MTag 352 and MTS MTag 281, these devices are priced in the range of Rs 5499 and 7499 and come with 'unlimited' data plans. The company had previously rolled out the MTS MTag 401.

According to Leonid Musatov, chief marketing and sales officer, MTS India, "MTS MTag 351, MTS MTag 352 and MTS MTag 281 are powered by best in class Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 Processor, running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform and come bundled with unlimited "All You Can Use" High Speed Data plans and local MTS to MTS Calls."

Buyers of MTS MTag 351 and MTag 352 will be able to make free local MTS-to-MTS call, while those who purchase

MTS MTag 351, priced Rs 7,499, features a 3.5-inch touchscreen and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). The smartphone is powered by the advanced 800MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 Processor and comes with a 1300mAh battery. It has a 3-megapixel camera with flash on the back and VGA in the front; high speed wireless tethering (mobile hotspot). It comes with a 2GB memory card and has an expandable memory slot for microSD card up to 32GB capacity.

MTS MTag 352, which costs Rs 6,499, is an Android 2.3 (Gingerbread)-powered smartphone with a 3.5-inch touchscreen. The device runs on the 800MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 Processor and features a 1400mAh battery. It has a 3.0 megapixel back camera and high speed wireless tethering (mobile hotspot). Available with a 2GB memory card out-of-the-box, this phone supports microSD card up to 32GB.

MTS MTag 281 has a 2.8-inch touchscreen, and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). Powered by a 800MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 Processor, the device comes with a 1200 mAh battery, 3-megapixel rear camera and high speed wireless tethering (mobile hotspot). The Smartphone will be available for Rs 5499
