Motorola is expected to announce the Moto Edge X next month in China, and it will be launched globally under the name Motorola Edge 30 Ultra.

Moto Edge X/Edge 30 Ultra will come with the following specs.

SOC - SD 8 Gen1/898
RAM - Up to 12 GB
Storage - Up to 256 GB
Display - 6.67" 144Hz FHD+ OLED screen with HDR10+ support and a punch hole for the 60MP selfie camera
Rear Camera - Triple camera system comprising 50MP primary (With OIS), 50MP ultrawide, and 2MP depth units.
Battery - 5000 mAh with 68W charging support
Connectivity - USB-C (3.1 Gen1) port
IP52 rating
Stereo Speakers
Bluetooth 5.2
WLAN 6
Sub-6 5G

Motorola has confirmed that the Edge X30 will be its first flagship with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1SoC.

Motorola confirmed via Weibo that the Edge X30 will be announced at a launch event in China on December 9 at 7:30PM local time.

Moto Edge X30 has been launched along with Edge X30 Special Edition and S30. The special edition comes with an under display camera while the S30 has the SD 888+ SOC instead of the SD8 Gen1.

Chinese Pricing and Sale Dates:

Motorola Edge X30 starts at CNY 3,199 ($501) in its 8/128GB trim. There’s also an 8/256GB version for CNY 3,399 ($532) and a 12/256GB one for CNY 3,599($564). The X30 Special Edition with its UD camera is priced at CNY 3,999 ($627). First sales in China tip-off on December 15.

Motorola Edge S30 will retail for CNY 1,999 ($313) in its baseline 6/128GB trim. The top of the line 12/256GB variant will cost CNY 2,599 ($407). Official sales tip-off on December 21.

All the bugs are solved in December update and it feels like more optimized phone now.
