Moldavia's Moldtelecom has enabled subscribers of its IPTV service to pause, replay and record a further ten channels through the service's network PVR (nPVR) capabilities.
The telco introduced nPVR capabilities for five channels last month (June 2011), enabling customers to record up to ten hours of programming, which can be viewed up to 72 hours after initial broadcast.
Moldtelecom gave an update on its IPTV service last February, after launching the service 12 months previously. The company revealed in March of last year that it invested MDL 55mn (US$ 4.4mn) in the service in 2009. No subscriber figures are available for the service as yet.
