MobiKwik has launched a new app for Android. MobiKwik has reduced the app size to 5MB, and the company claims this is the lightest mobile wallet app available in India.
MobiKwik app comes with features like bus booking, recharge, utility bills payments and more. It also allows users to access ongoing offers and locate nearby stores for offline payments.
Users can now easily transfer to wallet, band and merchants with the ‘Search to Pay’ option. The company has redesigned its offer section to make relevant offers more visible. It has also added a feedback section to improve bus booking experience for users.
“In addition to the new app launch, we aim to make our mobile wallet the gateway for Indian masses to access financial services such as insurance, credit and loans. This will create more stickiness for the users towards Mobikwik and will help increase per user transactions. Our vision is to have users pay, invest, borrow and save all using MobiKwik.” said Upasana Taku, Co-Founder, MobiKwik.
“Being the lightest app in India, users with a 2G connection or those who are using older phones with limited RAM, can also download MobiKwik within a minute. This will help more users in the interiors of our country to use our wallet, go cashless and avail other offers.” Upasana added.
According to data, MobiKwik is the third largets mobile wallet in India.
