Man City bracing for 60 mln-pound bid from Real for striker Aguero
London, May 29 (ANI): After Real Madrid gave up on Liverpool star Luis Suarez, Manchester City are reportedly bracing themselves for a 60 million-pound bid from the Spanish club for their striker Sergio Aguero.
The Champions League winners reportedly seem to have fixed Aguero at the top of their summer shopping list as Real boss Carlo Ancelotti, who was pllaning to lure Suarez to the Spanish side, has been privately forced to accept that the Uruguayan will not leave City.
According to the Daily Star, speculations are rife that the Real bosses are willing to sanction a mega-money move for Aguero and make him one of the highest paid stars at the club.
However, Real president Florentino Perez has reportedly insisted that the club is not chasing Aguero, but it is believed that the club would wait until after the World Cup in Brazil this summer before they make their move for the Argentine international.
With Real striker Karim Benzema's future looking doubtful at Real, Aguero is being seen as the deal replacement for the French international, the report added.
Perez said that currently there is no real urgency for them to sign any new players, adding that Real is not thinking about making a move for Aguero at the moment.
