Airfiber is Postpaid right? I have booked this 3 weeks ago, and the order is sitting safely. Just wondering what will happen if I want to discontinue after the trial. Since postpaid, the bills will be generated right? Also, I see a lot of complaints on refunds request,
Yup its postpaid, You will have to raise disconnection request via cc or app before 50 days period is over, because it will take some time for them to process request, and if you dont cancel it before 50 days you'll be charged around 350 or as per plan or billing cycle, and bro they are giving us all equipments incl. Stb, router, etc. Plus 50 days recharge, its fine if they dont give refund of 500, all those perks for 500 for 50 days seems fine.

My fiber trial also ended 2 days back & the agent who did the KYC while installation called me & said that if I'll pay him 600 (500 is security which will go to the company & 100 will go in his pocket as he's providing few extra days) then my services will be extended for another 2 months.
So what did you do?

did you extend it?

Got two links for "Jio Unlimited Offer 2025" which have different claim about the 500 Rs

One claims
This Offer is a limited-period offer valid from March 17, 2025, until a date determined by RJIL, and the free JioFiber/JioAirFiber connection will be activated on first come first serve basis subject to technical feasibility, and on payment Rs. 500 as refundable security deposit, only for eligible users residing in feasible buildings.

Other Claims
This Offer is a limited-period offer valid from March 17, 2025, until a date determined by RJIL. The free JioHome connection will be activated on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to technical feasibility. An upfront payment of ₹500 is required, which will be refunded in the form of 5 credit vouchers of ₹100 each after 6 months, redeemable one at a time, provided the customer is on an active plan.

Contaced my local JioFiber Technicial around the school
I asked him about 50 days trial offer
Initially he said you need golden pass to get 50 days trial and all and said its not available anymore

after i mentioned him about 500rs payment for 50days he said yes but after 50 days your plan will be 599+gst
he has agreed and we have scheduled the installation tomorrow

question
i read around and found that if i raise request for return of jio setupbox before 50 days trail period i would be able to switch to 399 plan
anyone has done this
going forward i would like to be on 399 plan

Hey guys I'm looking for a broadband connection but I came across Jio Fibre 50days free trial so wanted to try and continue to use if it performs well for me, heard ping is high and unstable at times, want to test at my place and see. Please tell will the refund if closed before 50days? And some mention about 399 plan is it available anyway?

Before 50 days, you will not be charged, and yes 500 is refundable. As for 399, it's available only on JioFiber and not Jio Airfiber.
Ping and stability depends on location, if you are from the Tier-1 and Metro cities, you are good, Tier-2 is average and Tier-3 is horrible.

Thank You for confirming, I'm from Bengaluru, but still Jio Fibre isn't available at my locality, seems Jio stopped expanding its fiber network and only offering AirFibre. I will connect with the team and share the proceedings here next.

In my area, jio fiber is not widely available in many locations. Many users made call on this offer is now put complained about signal drop or net slow problems.

Yes I'm also concerned with ping and uptime guarantee as jio 5G isn't that stable here, which I guess JioAirFibre also uses to provide the sevice.
