According to a senior Reliance official in my city Jio would launch officially after January and till then all customers can use unlimited Preview Offer(would be extended for all Jio customers after their offer gets over till commercial launch)

And Lyf phones would be getting 1 Year of Free 4G/Calls/Sms even after official launch

Hope it will get extended..

If they officially confirm about 1 yr free thing and models which they provide under that offer... I'm thinking to get one.

But I don't think they will give this offer to devices below 8k/10k because everyone can get a 3k device and enjoy the unlimited access

You should enable data on Jio SIM to get signal. However, it only works if it's ready for activation.

Today morning also I tried by dialing 1977 but "Not registered on network"

That means, ur SIM is not showing any signal on the mobile rt? First try to get the signal by changing the settings LTE/WCDMA/2G (Auto) or manually to LTE only (if that option exists) and then dial 1977

I bought a Jio sim in Madurai on last Monday but till now its not activated. Even I didn't receive a single confirmation SMS from Jio. I'm really disappointed. Called store persons they said that server problem. Any suggestions for me?

from last 5 days showing Jio 4G 4G HD as network name and type, earlier network type was 4G VoLTE...
