After getting the jio sim on 20 Aug using my Lenovo 4G device, I got the 1st sms on 24 Aug stating that 'thank u for choosing Jio. your application...' But I didn't get the 2nd sms confirming that the sim is ready for Televerification.
So today I just inserted the Jio sim on my Lenovo handset to test and it got the signal.
Done the Televerification and my sim is active now. Able to make calls using jiojoin app (No VoLTE support on my handset) and data services.
So my jio sim is active now

So it looks like due to some reason, the sms is not send from Jio server or is not received on our end.
Guys, those who have not received the 2nd sms, please insert the sim and check.

I have activated jio preview offer in my redmi note 3 a month ago using old My Jio app. it was hard to get a Jio sim from reliance mini 40 km away from my house. He refused to give sim, told that I will never get unlimited free offer, and sim will stop working. However it's all fine now. yesterday I was sitting with my friends and suddenly local jio dealer(who never agreed to give a sim before) came and ask for our photo and documents with code. he didn't want to see any mobile phone. It was just an opportunity for us. I know how can generate the code in every 4g phone. within 2 hours 10 set documents ready with code and sent to him. we are about to get jio sim cards today.

Could you please tell me the steps to generate the code in my Lenovo 4G phone? Already generated and store guys refused to give SIM and thus validity of the generated code expired already !!

Still didn't even get 1st sms....
Heard Airtel is blocking calls to jio CC ... You can get connected to them in 5-10 tries only...I have experienced this
Maybe they are blocking sms too??

I entered my Airtel number 2 or 3 times but didn't got otp,my friend at same time got the message he was using Idea sim,then when I entered my bsnl number I also got Otp
Maybe Airtel is doing this kind of Mischievous act
I don't know if they are blocking or not but two days back when I tried to connect my phone to Jio Hotspot in a mall,it asked phone number to send otpRaviteja said:
