I called CC on 1800-889-9999, after around 20 min in queue, the call was answered. yes, we need to wait for confirmation SMS.

Good that you were able to talk to them. I wasn't, after repeated tries and holds for 20-30 minutes on each call.

That could be because your documents are not yet submitted to Jio!

From where you collected Jio Sim in Kochi  and on which date ?

I got the Sim from Bangalore on 20th Aug for my Lenovo handset as the preview offer is applicable to all 4G devices. Yesterday got the sms stating that ' we have received your application.....' . Waiting for the confirmation sms regarding activation.

I too got the sim on 20th for my Lenovo model and no initial SMS till now. May be Bangalore guys uploaded details faster than Kochi guys
