Discussion Jio Postpaid Security Deposit Refund Experience

@venky how did you received refund, I’m trying from past 4 months, negative responses only. Can you provide emails or any details which can be helpful to get my refund.

Did you log the request here https://www.jio.com/selfcare/erefund/ ? If not please do this. My email was to jio care, keeping nodal officer in loop.

Check your 2nd monthly bill. For me Jio quietly without any intimation refunded my security deposit in the second and third monthly bill if i recall correctly, when i started the postpaid connection. I noticed it at that time so i know I am not due any refund.Maybe it has already been refunded?

@venky I too had similar experience. I waited 2 days for the link, it did not arrive. So did a bit of searching, and, here I got the link from official Jio website - Jio E Refund | Claim your Refund Online. Got the refund in 10 days. Same link can be used for JioFiber refunds also.

@maniotf Hi, I converted from postpaid to prepaid on 23rd march. now going to the link mentioned by you, it show refund not applicable. what should be done?
while paying postpaid security at jio store the person said I need to contact customer care after 60 days of migrating from postpaid to prepaid to get the link for refund.

i faced this situation in the past 3 years ago, you have to click link were sent to you from jio on email with registered on my jio app or sms with link within 24 hours of sim closing or convert as per company policy, they didn't tell you at the time of sim activation as it's business. At end, there is no other option for refund.

@honey95 Is the 24-hour thing applicable only for Postpaid to prepaid? Coz When I ported postpaid, my refund request was initiated after a month
