They've mostly regional movies Channels or GEC channels so for main regions like Tamil, Telugu, Kannada they'll launch separately rest all on existing channels they may use.

Dumb theory. If that was the case. There won't be cricket or any other sports from Viacom on DD FreeDish. They got an exclusive tv channel there. They are very much active in both streaming and broadcasting market. They are playing a safe bet when it comes broadcasting. Using niche unpopular channels for niche events. While pushing cricket the most popular sports to most subscribed and FTA channels ensuring that they earn from both subscription and ads revenue.
