Anybody knows when will Jio deploy 5G VoNR for voice calling? It will reduce the burden on 4G network. It might also help improve battery life as phones will no longer need to be connected to 4G and 5G both.

According to Esmail, N77 is subset of N78. So it should work.

I said n78 is a subset of n77 not the other way round. But regardless if the phone supports n77 then it has to support n78 by default (the other way around need not be true).

It’s working on iPhones too but randomly, not everytime.

On another note, my 2nd Jio number exclusively to be used in iPad Pro 5G got the Trial 5G offer plan added. This happened only after I inserted that sim in my iPhone 13 Pro Max for 2 days. Earlier, with the sim inserted in iPad, it wasn’t getting the offer. Now waiting for iPadOS software update to support India’s 5G. Hate to see Apple treat their iPad Pro buyers like garbage. If they have given 5G in iPhone in iOS 16.2 update, why the F do they ignore iPads and keep us waiting? Makes me wanna explode

Got the 5G trial offer, but not able to see that 1gbps though. Currently 5G is a big lol to phone's battery life
