Very poor implementation from Jio. Airtel 5G is working fine on my Samsung S20 Fe 5g but Jio is not even detecting it as a compatible device.
You will require software update from Samsung.

Pro Tip for Samsung lovers: Do not get Galaxy S21/22 from USA to India at ANY COSTS. USA variants don’t have band n78 so basically those phones are worthless in India.

Already required update is there in phone. In Jio database on its website, there is just 4G version of this phone. It's a Jio issue not a samsung one

I am in similar boat when it comes to Jio’s support for iPad Pro 2022 Cellular. Jio’s database just recognises it as Apple iPad Pro and MyJIO app displays a message “Time to upgrade your worthless 4G device”

Apple’s iPadOS hasn’t added 5G support for iPads yet. Goes to show they give step-brotherly treatment to iPads which cost ₹ 1lakh+

Showing 5G Trial Plan in My Jio App.
Now what to do because still not getting 5G Signal.

You have to wait 1-2 days till they provision your number to latch on to 5G network.

Also make sure you have selected 5G standalone toggle which is present on iPhones or some Androids.

Apart from that, there is absolutely nothing else you can do. So have patience.

I am pretty impressed with what Jio has done with 5G in Hyderabad. Every single place that has 5G is registering 800mbps+ with good signal and 400mbps+ with 50% signal. Tested Airtel 5G just a few times due to lack of free pack, but it got me around <=200mbps. Occasionally it goes to 600mbps when the signal is 100%
