Settings -Mobile Network- You find 5G/LTE/3G/2G if You Find This Means Your Phone is 5G Enabled If not Then you have Regular 4G Volte Or LTE Network. 5G firmware update also required for 5G Network Enabling on your Device.

I have a doubt, it says that my 5g trial is ending at par my current plan ( my plan is ending on 23 dec and the 5g plan also ending at 23 dec) what if I recharge on 22 dec, will my 5G trial continue or will it end at 23 dec, incase I am not able to move on to a 5G enabled area???

I think the only criteria is to recharge with 5G supported package. If not trial will be expired i guess.

Since 5G packs are not out yet, can I recharge with the same amount I recharged with this month ( i.e. 299pm)... The reason I am asking is bcoz I don't want to lose out on the trial...

You can recharge with same pack. As per Jio website all plans starting and above 239 are eligible.

Jio website:

Jio 5G will work only if the Jio customer has a valid active base plan of Rs 239 or higher for prepaid and all postpaid users

Presently roaming around the country from Mumbai to Delhi to Kolkata…so finally got the Welcome offer and the speeds are really amazing but pretty unstable, at times the 5G signal latches automatically and gives speeds over 800 Mbps and then suddenly drops to LTE at exact same place.
