For me personally Star overpaid for IPL rights. So the amount of 1499 doesn't make any sense. 999 per month is OK.

Well it would still be worth if they start & provide the live tv feed on Disney+ Hotstar! Else, they need to reduce the price.

TV and Digital business are different. They are not desperate like others. Others can't match the library of Hotstar. So they are compensating with live channels. Also they are a stake holder in one of the biggest DTH company.
