Well it would still be worth if they start & provide the live tv feed on Disney+ Hotstar! Else, they need to reduce the price.
Disney Star have TV rights only, so they can't stream. Digital rights with Viacom18/Voot from IPL 2023.

Personally i rarely watch IPL.But for me as long as Hotstar has the rights for EPL i will pay the annual subscription fee.

I don't watch sports. So it's the same worth for me with or without it.
Honestly, it kinda puts me off. As I know a huge part of the subscription fee I am paying is due to the sports. Which I don't really watch.

Exactly, customers like us would love a separate cheaper plan without all Sports content.

Same here. But very less chances of that happening.
Disney is very smart. They keep on releasing new Marvel shows one after another. Otherwise I would've cancelled long ago. Rarely watched anything other than Marvel stuff after Succession ended.

Which plan are you currently on?

Even I agree there needs to be plans without sports. I mostly watch the Disney shows which aren't available to watch on other platforms where as sports can be easily watched on Star Sports channels on TV.

For me personally Star overpaid for IPL rights. So the amount of 1499 doesn't make any sense. 999 per month is OK.
