The match wasn't fixed people. If it were fixed, they should have never scored 189, and the second thing Raydu getting emotional as he thought they won't qualify at the time of his run out. THIS was the BEST match in history of IPL!!! MI completely rocked this one!!! Anderson has proved that he is Champion!!!!

Why Mumbai got that extra ball

In the calculation of net run rate (NRR), the final score, and not the target, is the relevant number. For Mumbai Indians, the requirement to finish the chase in 87 deliveries was only subject to their final score being 190. The chasing team, if they take a few extra deliveries to get home, can still push their NRR up to the required fraction if they manage to achieve a final score that is sufficiently higher - by finishing things off with a boundary.

Mumbai Indians, despite failing to score that all-important extra run off 14.3, had already inched ahead of Rajasthan Royals' NRR when they had drawn level on 189. At that stage, Mumbai Indians' NRR read 0.078099, while Royals' was 0.076821. Had Mumbai Indians just run the single they needed for victory off the fourth ball, though, their NRR would have gone below that of Royals'.

Since they were using the extra ball, they would have needed to get their score up to at least 191 off that delivery. Running two was not an option, as they needed just the one run to win. So their only option was to hit a boundary.

However, had they played out a dot ball, they still would have not been out of it. They could have hit a four off 14.5 or 14.6 and still finished with a NRR better than that of Royals. If they played out three dots, they would have needed to hit a six off 15.1 to bump their NRR up above Royals'. If this had happened, Mumbai would have ended with a NRR of 0.080519 against Royals' 0.074163.

Keevon Cooper reported for suspect bowling action

Mumbai: Rajasthan Royals all-rounder Kevon Cooper has been reported for bowling certain deliveries with a suspect illegal action during the IPL match against Mumbai Indians played here yesterday.

Cooper, who bagged two wickets in his four-over spell in a five-wicket defeat that saw Rajasthan lose the play-off spot to Mumbai, was reported by on-field umpires Rod Tucker and K Srinath, along with third umpire S Ravi, at the conclusion of the match.

The Trinidad and Tobago pacer was the most economical of the Rajasthan bowlers -- 9.50 -- that saw a Corey Anderson (unbeaten 44-ball 95) blitzkrieg help Mumbai get to their 190-run target in 14.4 overs.

Under the IPL Suspected Illegal Bowling Action policy, Cooper is entitled for an `official assessment` from the BCCI Suspect Bowling Action Committee, which comprises Venkataraghavan, Javagal Srinath, Jayaprakash and honorary secretary Sanjay Patel.

However, pending any clearance by the committee, Cooper would be available for Rajasthan selection in the next edition of the cash-rich league but if he is reported a second time, he would be suspended from bowling for the remainder of that season.

Cooper`s bowling action first came under the scanner in January 2011 when he went to the University of Western Australia to undergo tests and undertake remedial work to correct the fault.

In August 2011, the Trinidad and Tobago pacer was cleared to play and since has been trying hard to earn a West Indies cap.

Ok match is not fixed but truth is Kolkata will take on Punjab @ Eden Gardens (Home Ground of KKR) and Mumbai will take on Chennai @ Wankhede (Home Ground of MI) So BCCI will able to sold all tickets and Match will go House Full and most possibly the result of that 1st Qualifier will be KKR beat Punjab and @ Eliminator MI beat CSK then 2nd Qualifier will be Punjab Vs. MI @ Brabourne Stadium Mumbai again Mumbai support and Mumbai will definitely beat Punjab and reach to the final so finale fixture will be MI Vs. KKR @ Banguluru. A Superhit Mukabala :k
