How Many Wins A Team Need To Have To Secure A Place In Play Offs?
7 Or 8?

If most teams have equal win loss ratio then 8 wins is required to decide who gets the 4th play off slot. But since CSK, SRH and KXIP are winning almost everything, this year the 4th team that gets to the playoff may very well require just 7 wins. May be even 6 wins with good net run rate might be good enough if CSK, SRH and KXIP maintain their winning streak.

I have never seen 3 teams fight it out for the top spot in IPL. Seems more interesting.
