IPL 2018: Delhi Daredevils unveil new jersey for upcoming season

The Delhi Daredevils have unveiled their jersey for the eleventh edition for the Indian Premier League, with CEO Hemant Dua sharing pictures of the new look on social media.

The new jersey carries the same colours from the previous editions, with the red and blue prominent throughout the uniform, with the addition of an orange tinge which, according to a tweet from Dua, 'signifies the rising sun'.

The side profiles reveal that the left side of the clothing, along the shoulder, is red in colour, whereas the right arm is completely submerged in blue.

Blow to KKR as Andre Russell ruled out with hamstring injury

After Chris Lynn gave Kolkata Knight Riders a real scare with yet another shoulder injury recently it is now Andre Russell, another of their retained stars, who is doubtful for IPL next month. The Islamabad United player suffered a hamstring injury while fielding against Karachi Kings last week.

MUMBAI: After owning teams in football, Kabaddi and hockey leagues, Sajjan Jindal-owned diversified business conglomerate, JSW Group, is set to have a sizeable stake in the Indian Premier League (IPL) as well.

JSW Sports, the sports arm of the steel to software conglomerate, is acquiring 50% stake in GMR Group-owned Delhi franchise of IPL, Delhi Daredevils.

Mustafa Ghouse, CEO, JSW Sports, told ET that both the companies have submitted the proposal to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for its approval.
