So, KKR has done the thing only CSK and SRH had achieved so far.. CSK entered Finals from playing Eliminator in 2012 while SRH entered Finals from playing Eliminator in 2016...

Only a single active Team was knocked out without playing the finals when they had finished top of the table ie., DC in 2009, 2012 and 2021.. The other team who had that fate was Gujarat Lions in 2016.
