Tom Curran picked up the wickets of Uthappa & Thakur in his 3rd over and conceded just 6 runs in that over and his spell before the last over was 2-16(3), while Rabada had conceded 23 in his 3 overs without taking a wicket, so definitely Tom Curran would be preferred over Rabada and instead of completing 4 overs of Avesh Khan, Rabada could have been given the 17th or the 19th over bcoz Avesh Khan had already given 27 runs in his first 2 overs without taking any wicket
