What he said is absolutely true. It's not a T20 format where all the matches can be conducted at a single venue for each group without any problems. Ranji Trophy for 38 teams is not a joke they can conduct within bio bubbles. Thats why it's logically and practically correct to skip a season instead of getting into problems that could have been avoided. Let's just take Indian team in the Australian tour. Even with slightly lesser restrictions they found it unbearable. How can people feel with the longer tournaments like Ranjis.
