I fell asleep way too early tonight due to me not being well, but this hit me hard when I first saw this at 2am in the wee hours of night .

When I first saw this, the first thing that came to my mind is that there's no readily available captain for this team. AB is also on the last leg of his career, no one knows whether Maxwell will be brought back/has credentials as captain or not, yuzi is 2 years younger than Virat, we wouldn't want to take that risk of giving him the captaincy given his current form and then devdutt, who hasn't lead at all any team before.. I would hope that we get a good captain in the auction (Come back KL please ).

But on the other hand, I’m actually glad that he decided to step down himself now from both the national team and Rcb where he has been really good since the last season in terms of captaincy. He left himself when everyone were appreciating the way he led the team.

I would only hope that he wins both the IPL and the T20 WC as he calls time from his T20 captaincy career.. I'm hoping that the players would get motivated with the fire to let Kohli retire from captaincy with at least 1 trophy .
