With Shamsi and Phillips, the other overseas players remaining in the Royals' roster are David Miller, Chris Morris, Liam Livingstone and Mustafizur Rahman. They had young South African quick Gerald Coetzee in the squad for the first half as a replacement for Livingstone, but with Livingstone expected to be available for the second half, Coetzee will no longer be with Royals.

After picking Tim Southee, KKR should look to bowl Tim Southee in Power plays as wicket taking option and finish his 4 overs before 10 overs, Lockie Ferguson & Sunil Narine/ Varun Chakravarthy/Andre Russel can be used as Death Bowlers.

There are 2 Things,
1) There are not many choices left to fill spot for Pat Cummins
2) KKR chance of qualifying to play offs is just 5%

What ever they had options to choose, Tim Southee looks perfect as new ball baller, he can slog at back end with bat so not like to like but decent Replacement.
