Is it even possible? I guess IPL allows only the guys who are part of auctions as replacements rite.?

Wow, just saw those RCB signings. Hasaranga and Tim David were expected, but Chameera was a total surprise, along with Dan Sams not available, despite being an Aus reserve player for T20 WC... We still have a foreign slot left, wondering who will be coming in now...

Also no clarity on Washi yet... With them not announcing a replacement for him, I'm hoping he's playing for RCB in the 2nd half

Yes you are right as per rules only players who have put theirs Names for auctions could be bought as replacement.
