The situation of the game is a major part in my opinion.
1. Well-set batsman vs batsman faced 4 balls
2. Morris not having meddled the 4 balls he faced uptil that point
3. While Morris can hit, its been far and few in his career so far
4. Samson may have faced Arshdeep in domestic cricket

So made sense to me that the single was not taken
