Guys considering so many companies are going towards IPOs it would be better if Indian govt & SEBI formulate stricter laws to protect retail investors money - many companies stakeholders or owners (2% to 10%- example angel investors etc.) end up selling their share and gaining profits which indirectly impacts company stability or value - so that they don't end up selling stake so easily in short term and company retains value and safeguards small retail investors like us - similar to laws existing in US & China at presently.

Still IMO Zerodha is best discount broker if you are not worried about unexpected outages at times. For me it doesn't matter because i am not prone to minute by minute viewing of stock prices.I do have Groww account too for shares i buy for short term.Personally i feel it better to have 2 accounts one for Long term investing and other one for short term.

I opted Groww just because it has Zero AMC. later I'll move to either Zerodha or angel One.

In my opinion, instead of books, you should watch Youtube videos and learn from there. I will suggest some channels like Ankur Warikoo, Pranjal etc. You can learn it there. Like search how much to save in a month for retirement and you will get an idea about the factors you should take into consideration while saving for retirement. Or Emergency fund etc.

I have read rich dad poor dad its not book which teaches me terms of finance .Also its more suitable to American environment than indian.i mean he recommends to buy house in auction rather then buying house on loan as house in auction are much cheaper according to him.I donot know about USA but in India even those house which are in auction in city centers are as costly as new one or are in same price range as those in not in auctions...

The point is you need to adapt whatever you can, not all of it...
