After launching the Aqua Power HD 4G last week, Intex has launched another smartphone in its Aqua series, called the Intex Aqua Strong 5.1 . The smartphone is available with a price tag of Rs 5,599 in champagne, white and black color options. Talking about the key features, the smartphone comes with 4G support and runs Android Marshmallow 6.0 out-of-the-box.
The other features of the smartphone include face detection, anti-shake, do not disturb and emergency rescue. It is also pre-loaded with apps like Matrabhasha, Saavn, Clean Master and Opera Mini.

The smartphone features a 5-inch FWVGA (854×480) display with Gorilla Glass 2 protection. Under the hood runs a 1.0GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. The Intex Aqua Strong 5.1 also offers an internal storage of 8GB, which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
The smartphone sports a 5-megapixel rear camera, which has a dual LED flash. It comes with a 2-megapixel front facing camera with flash. Some of the camera features include smile detection, face beauty, panorama mode and voice capture. It is powered by a 2,800mAh battery, which the company claims delivers up to 16 hours of talktime on 3G and 4G. It runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 and its connectivity options include 4G, Bluetooth, dual-SIM, USB 2.0, and Wi-Fi.
The smartphone will face tough competition in the likes of InFocus M370 and Micromax Canvas Blaze 4G Plus among other 4G-enabled entry-level smartphones. The Aqua Strong 5.1 will also compete against Reliance’s LYF Flame 4G VoLTE enabled smartphones, which start as low as Rs 2,999 .
