Intel along with Taiwan-headquartered WPG Holdings has launched a new portable PC dubbed NuPC. The NuPc runs Windows 8.1 with Bing.

The palm-sized PC will come powered by the Intel Core i3 or the Intel Celeron processor. The PC is only 35mm thick and takes up a 4 x 4-inch (117 x 112mm) space on a desk. It is based on Intel NUC and targeted at business as well as home consumers. These PCs are being assembled in India.

In terms of configuration, the Intel Core i3-powered NuPC is available in 2GB RAM – 500GB storage and 4GB RAM – 1TB storage variants priced at Rs 29,999 and Rs 32,999, respectively. The specs sheet also includes Intel HD Audio 1, USB 3.0 ports at the front and back and USB 2.0 ports.

The Intel Celeron-powered NuPC will be made available in 2GB RAM, 500GB storage and 4GB RAM, 1TB storage variants priced at Rs 18,999 and Rs 21,999, respectively. It comes with a single USB 3.0 port at the front and two USB 2.0 ports at the back.

It is bundled with a 19V 3.42A DC adapter and comes with a full-sized HDMI port and 3.5mm mic/headphone jack. However, keyboard, mouse, and monitor are not included with the NuPC.
