Now, recent searches is being shown after searching in Instagram Direct just like how it shows in normal search option.

What are you trying to convey by posting something from an article which adds no value? Since the article is long, you could have rewritten a short summary yourself.

1. Do not use formatting while copy pasting.

2. Your post content says Get details here but post itself has not even short details of those new features

Facebook appears to flipping the switch on integrating the chat systems for Instagram and Messenger. An update screen popped up in Instagram’s mobile app with the message “There’s a New Way to Message on Instagram” with a list of features.

Once you hit update, the regular DM icon in the top right of Instagram is replaced by the Facebook Messenger logo.

This switch is now widely rolling out for everyone

Now old chat history with deleted accounts are visible in chat section.

This has been there since quite some time now, at least since the start of the year for me iirc. Not new..
