Australia has poorer bowlers post 2021. Starc/Hazelwood isn't at best. I don't know who are there next best bowlers. Especially Hazelwood. They focussed on T20 WC and it created problems for him. Hazelwood 32-33. Starc 33. Cummins at 30. Only Cummins has 3 years left in him at best. Both Captaincy and bowling taking toll on him. Pursuing failing Warner is putting pressure on middle order. Marnus outside Australia is terrible batsman. Rabada/Ngidi/Nortje isn't best since 2019 in test format. Due to T20 leagues all around the world, it's tough for fast bowlers to maintain the intensity in test cricket. That's why Bazball is successful. Boult, Southee are poorer in last two years. See brooks, he isn't good enough to bat at three.

If Anderson would have played at his best, England would have won the first two matches as well. I wish atleast two teams take Bazball approach in upcoming matches.

Its good that Alex Lees and Surrey Opener didn't picked up post 2021.

England scored 384 in 72 over against WC Australia. run Rate 5.33
India scored 288 in 84 over against Minnows West Indies.
Run Rate 3.42
Bazball is future as soon as Other country adopt this, It will be beneficial for them.
Gone are the days when U bat like Pujara or Labuschagne its time for Reform in test cricket too

How can you say Bazball is future we saw what happened in Edgbaston. It depends on the team. If you are prepared to bat 2+ days post a 600+ total then take 20 wickets that is all it takes to win a Test match.

For all supporting Bazball I dont know how many of you remember India v Australia 2003 in Adelaide

Day 1: 400/5 in 90 overs by Australia
Day 2 Lunch: 523/7
Day 2 Tea: Aus: 556 all out, Ind: 81/2
Day 2: Ind: 180/4
Day 3: Ind: 477/7 (Ind - 297/3)
Day 4 Lunch: Ind 523 all out, Aus: 21/2
Day 4 Tea: Aus: 112/5
Day 4: Aus: 196 all out, Ind: 36/0
Day 5 Lunch: 108/2
Day 5: 233/6

Why I am saying is Australia played Bazball first Innings to score 400 in a day but still lost whereas India playing normal cricket got the 20 wickets and chased down the runs.

If you ask me Bazball is very good if you can implement it on bad wickets (wickets where we know 10 wickets will fall within a day like in Headingley) as however you play you lose wickets but on dry wickets where if you play sensibly it is tough to get you out sometimes by playing Bazball style you throw your wicket away like in Lords. There was no demons in Lords pitch on the morning of Day 3 but England from a commanding position of 278/4 at end of Day 2 by playing aggressively they got all out on the morning within 15 overs to 325 and lost the game.
