Joe Root's last seven innings - 14, 19, 16, 13, 4, 48 & 0 (latest). Never before he has had more than seven consecutive innings without a 50+ score.

England was in same position in their first innings and ended up adding around 200 runs for last 4 wickets. I wish India can add atleast a 100!!
India did really well to restrict the deficit to a mere 40 runs, finally a good show from the lower order courtesy Jaddu. I wonder if India missed the trick by playing Ashwin instead of Jadeja in the first 4 tests!!

India has better batsmen in this match with Vihari and Jadeja in tail as compared to Pandya/Ashwin. Hope, they will score some runs.
As expected, both Vihari and Jadeja has done very well and deserves their place in the team.

Now england tour is 99% over some players not get chance it's too late to gave chance to these both after losing the series conditions are tough here some players not contributed
well with bat else main Problem was team selection for this series loss :dodgy:

Looks like India will lose this match also, it will be tough for them to win or even draw this match.

38 batsmen scored 50+ in each innings of their first Test and 17 players did so in the last Test they played.
Only two players did it on both instances (>1 Test) - Bruce Mitchell & Alastair Cook.
