The fast bowler did not take part in practice earlier this week due to a minor right thigh injury, but on Wednesday had recovered enough to bowl without discomfort for 30 minutes.

Three large wins into their four-match Test series against India, captain Andrew Strauss has insisted that England will be looking to cap their crusade with more of the triumphant same come the fourth and final match.
 
Captain Mahendra Dhoni on Wednesday implored his side not to panic after losing their number-one Test ranking. "What's important is not to panic. Some sides push the panic button too soon, but we will look ahead to the bright future we have," said Dhoni.
 
Former England captain Michael Atherton has criticised India's lack of preparation and questioned the collective form of their middle order.
"Their inability to post 300 in an innings is a mark of many things, but principally how well England have bowled and how much pressure their outstanding out-cricket has put India under," wrote Atherton in his column for Sky Sports.
 
Team director Andy Flower has admitted that England will need to fix their sights on a new target after summiting the ICC Test rankings on the back of a crushing defeat of India at Edgbaston.
"I always think it is very dangerous to try to hold on to what you have got," he said. "We used that goal - to be No 1 - as a motivational tool that drove us in training and in matches.
 
Dhoni hints at an unchanged playing XI

On the eve of the fourth Test against England at the Oval, Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni hinted that Team India is unlikely to make changes to the side that lost at Birmingham.

India, who have been pushed to the wall by hosts England, have been hampered by injuries to several senior members. The team selection in the Indian contingent has come under much scrutiny for going ahead with semi-fit players on the tour.
